project overview
faceit is an interactive educational installation and digital experience that exposes the vulnerability of personal data in the age of ai and online identity. designed as a two-part journey with integrated site interaction, faceit challenges visitors to confront how easily their information can be collected, replicated and misused. each app, image, code, and script was built by me using ai. every site in this project was fully developed end to end, including the complete design process.

Final Project HiT
FACEIT invites visitors to participate in what appears to be a harmless personality-reading experience based on a selfie. By submitting their name, photo and phone number, participants unknowingly set the system in motion.
the site flow.
In the second space, the installation reveals the consequences of this exchange. The visitor's face is duplicated, manipulated and placed into a series of digital posters that showcase a wide range of identity misuses, from commercial branding to extreme and provocative contexts.

Simultaneously, visitors receive real-time text messages that expose unsettling insights about how their information is being exploited.

The experience concludes with a dedicated mobile mini site that explains the concept of digital footprints and provides practical tools for reducing personal exposure online.

In order to protect the participants’ privacy, I will not present the manipulations that were applied to the users’ faces. However, the manipulation can be seen at the beginning of the video.
